Most Joiner Websites Don't Look Good.
They Don't Win Much Work Either.

People looking for a joiner usually want something made, not just fitted. A new staircase, sash windows for an old house, oak doors or fitted wardrobes for an awkward alcove. They take their time, and they judge you on the quality of work they can see.

Most joinery websites hide the best work. A few small photos, one page listing everything, and no sense of the workshop behind it. Good web design for joiners puts your craftsmanship first and makes it easy to ask for a quote.

I build websites to do exactly that.

What people check before they contact a joiner

Bespoke joinery is a considered buy. These are the questions a joiner's website has to answer before someone picks up the phone.

  1. 01

    Is the work good enough?

For made-to-measure work, photos are everything. Large, clear pictures of finished staircases, windows and furniture, with a line on the timber and finish, sell better than any description.

  2. 02

    Do you make it yourselves?

Customers value workshop-made joinery. Showing your workshop, your machines and work in progress tells them it's built for their house, not bought off the shelf.

  3. 03

    Can you handle my house?

Period homes, listed buildings and odd-sized openings worry people. Examples of similar jobs, like matching original sash windows, answer that straight away.

  4. 04

Can I trust you with a big job?

Google reviews, any BWF or Guild of Master Craftsmen membership you hold, and how you handle measuring, making and fitting give people the confidence to commit.

The pages a joiner's website needs

Google ranks pages, not businesses. Each type of joinery you want more of gets its own page, written for what people actually type in.

  • Bespoke staircases

New staircases, oak treads and balustrade replacements, with photos of finished stairs and a simple quote form.

  • Sash and timber windows

Made-to-measure sash and casement windows, including period and conservation work where you match the originals.

  • Timber doors and frames

Front doors, internal oak doors and frames made to fit, for people tired of off-the-shelf sizes.

  • Fitted wardrobes and furniture

Built-in wardrobes, alcove units and shelving, the jobs people search for when standard furniture won't fit.

  • Our workshop

How you measure, make and fit, with photos of the workshop and work in progress. This is where trust is won.

  • Area pages

A page for each town you cover, so you show up when people search "joiner near me" where you actually work.

  3. 03
    Your work, shown properly

Galleries that show off finished pieces at their best, so people see the quality before they ever meet you.

  4. 04
    Quote requests you can price

A simple form that asks for sizes, photos and timber preference, so you spend less time chasing details.

    You own everything.

Full terms: paying, guarantees and the founding offer

Paying

I take no deposit and no booking fee. You pay nothing until you've seen and approved your homepage design. Then you pay the full price in one go, and I build the rest. The price is one-off. No VAT to add.

The See-It-First Guarantee

Your homepage design comes within 24 hours of your set-up call. 1 round of changes is included before you decide. You then have 2 working days to say yes or no, so I can hold your build slot. The 7-day clock pauses while you decide. If you say no, you owe nothing, and the unused design stays with me.

The 7-Day Launch Guarantee

The 7 working days start on your booked start date, with your set-up call. The clock only runs once I have everything on my set-up list: your details, logins and photos. It pauses while I'm waiting on you: for feedback, answers, your decision on your homepage design, your payment or access to your web address. 'Live' means your site is up on your own web address. If it isn't live in time because of a delay on my side, I pay you £100 by bank transfer within 7 days of launch. It's money, not a credit.

The founding price

The founding price is an introductory price for my first 4 founding clients. A place is taken when a client books their set-up call, and their price is locked from then, as long as they keep that call. If a client cancels, misses their set-up call or walks away at the design stage before all 4 places are taken, their place opens again. The founding price ends the day the 4th place is taken. Then the price goes up to £1,995, and the founding price doesn't come back.

In return I ask 3 things: use what I build and give me honest feedback, let me take a before snapshot on day 1, and let me show your finished site and its tracked numbers, good or bad. If you'd rather stay anonymous, I hide your name and web address. Your price never depends on a review.

What I don't promise

I don't promise rankings, calls, enquiries or jobs. Google decides when and where your pages show up. My guarantees cover my own work.

Joiner website questions, answered.

What's different about web design for joiners?

Joinery is sold on craftsmanship, so a joiner's website is built around your work: large photos, a page for each thing you make, and your workshop on show. It's set up for people planning a considered purchase, with a quote form that collects the details you need.

I'm a joiner, not a carpenter. Will the site make that clear?

Yes. The site is written around workshop-made joinery, like staircases, windows, doors and fitted furniture, so the right customers find you. If you also do site work, it can have its own page without muddying the rest. Customers then know what you make before they call.

I don't have many good photos. Is that a problem?

It's common. We can start with what you have and I'll tell you which shots make the most difference. Phone photos taken in good light work well. Pictures of work in progress in the workshop are useful too. I'll send a short list of what to shoot.

Can you show my BWF or Guild of Master Craftsmen membership?

Yes, if you hold it. Memberships go where people decide who to trust, with a link so customers can check them. I only show what you actually hold, so the site stays accurate. It sits next to your reviews and photos of finished work, so all the proof is in one place.

Do I need to write anything?

No. I write every page for you from a short set-up call about the joinery you make, the areas you cover and the work you want more of. You send photos and approve the wording. If you'd rather tweak the wording yourself, you can, and I'll make the changes.

What are SEO foundations?

The groundwork Google needs to find and understand your site: page titles written for the searches you want, a clear page structure, fast pages on mobile, your business details kept consistent, and a sitemap so Google knows every page exists. It's the base that Local SEO builds on later.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Your site, your domain and your content belong to your business. Nothing is held hostage.

What do I need to provide?

The basics: the services you offer, the areas you cover, and any photos of your work. I'll guide you through the rest.

Are there any ongoing costs?

A yearly fee for hosting and your web address, paid by you. I tell you the exact amount in writing before you pay anything. More SEO after the 3 included months is optional, month to month.

What happens after the 3 months of SEO?

That's up to you. Carry on month to month at £495 a month, or stop. Your website keeps working either way, and nothing ties you in.
