Most Carpenter Websites Don't Look Good.
They Don't Win Much Work Either.
People search for a carpenter when they have a specific job. New doors hung, skirting fitted, a deck built, a loft boarded out. They want someone local, reliable and tidy, and they usually pick from the first few they find.
Most carpentry websites are a single page that says "all aspects of carpentry". That tells nobody anything. Good web design for carpenters gives each job its own page, so you show up for the work people actually search for.
I build websites to do exactly that.
- 01FoundSEO architecture built in from the start.
- 02ChosenProof and design that make you the obvious call.
- 03ContactedEvery important page leads towards an enquiry.
Stop renting your growth.
Ads disappear when you stop paying. Your website doesn't.
What people check before they ring a carpenter
Most carpentry jobs are booked quickly. These are the questions a carpenter's website has to answer in the first few seconds.
- 01
Do you do my job?
Someone needing five doors hung wants to see door hanging, not a vague list. Clear pages for each job tell them they're in the right place.
- 02
Are you tidy and reliable?
Homeowners worry about mess and no-shows. Reviews that mention turning up on time and leaving the house clean are worth more than anything you write.
- 03
What does your work look like?
Photos of crisp mitres on skirting, a level deck or a neat run of flooring show your standard of finish in a second.
- 04
Can you work with my builder?
Builders and developers look for carpenters too. A page on first and second fix work shows you can slot into a bigger project.
Built to get you found.
Built to get you chosen.
Built to get you contacted.
Here's what built properly looks like for carpenters. Each page has one job: making it easy for the right customer to find you, trust you and get in touch.
- 1
Built to get you foundA page for every job you want more of, from door hanging to decking, plus a page for each town you cover and the technical groundwork Google needs.
- 2
Built to get you chosenClose-up photos of your finished work and Google reviews about reliability and tidiness, up front where people decide who to let in.
- 3
Built to get you contactedA call button on every page for quick jobs, and a short quote form for decks, flooring and bigger projects.
The pages a carpenter's website needs
Google ranks pages, not businesses. Each job you want more of gets its own page, written for what people actually type in.
Door hanging and fitting
Internal doors, fire doors and new frames, one of the most searched carpentry jobs there is.
Skirting and architrave
Second fix finishing work, with close-up photos that show the quality of your joints.
Decking and garden carpentry
Decks, pergolas and fence repairs, the seasonal jobs people plan every spring.
Flooring
Laminate, engineered wood and solid floors fitted, for homeowners and landlords alike.
First and second fix for builders
Stud walls, floor joists, roof timbers and loft boarding, written for builders and developers who need a reliable carpenter.
Area pages
A page for each town you cover, so you show up when people search "carpenter near me" where you actually work.
Everything you need
to win work online.
No templates. No missing essentials. Everything below is included in your website.
- 01Mobile-first design

- 03Homeowners and builders
Pages written for homeowners with a job to do, and a page for builders who need a carpenter on site.
- 04Quick calls and planned quotes
One tap to call for small jobs, and a short form with photo upload for the bigger work.

Paying
I take no deposit and no booking fee. You pay nothing until you've seen and approved your homepage design. Then you pay the full price in one go, and I build the rest. The price is one-off. No VAT to add.
The See-It-First Guarantee
Your homepage design comes within 24 hours of your set-up call. 1 round of changes is included before you decide. You then have 2 working days to say yes or no, so I can hold your build slot. The 7-day clock pauses while you decide. If you say no, you owe nothing, and the unused design stays with me.
The 7-Day Launch Guarantee
The 7 working days start on your booked start date, with your set-up call. The clock only runs once I have everything on my set-up list: your details, logins and photos. It pauses while I'm waiting on you: for feedback, answers, your decision on your homepage design, your payment or access to your web address. 'Live' means your site is up on your own web address. If it isn't live in time because of a delay on my side, I pay you £100 by bank transfer within 7 days of launch. It's money, not a credit.
The founding price
The founding price is an introductory price for my first 4 founding clients. A place is taken when a client books their set-up call, and their price is locked from then, as long as they keep that call. If a client cancels, misses their set-up call or walks away at the design stage before all 4 places are taken, their place opens again. The founding price ends the day the 4th place is taken, or on , whichever comes first. Then the price goes up to £1,995, and the founding price doesn't come back.
In return I ask 3 things: use what I build and give me honest feedback, let me take a before snapshot on day 1, and let me show your finished site and its tracked numbers, good or bad. If you'd rather stay anonymous, I hide your name and web address. Your price never depends on a review.
What I don't promise
I don't promise rankings, calls, enquiries or jobs. Google decides when and where your pages show up. My guarantees cover my own work.
Carpenter website questions, answered.
What's different about web design for carpenters?
A carpenter's website is built around the separate jobs people search for, like door hanging, skirting or decking, rather than one general page. Each job gets its own page with photos of your finish, so the site matches what customers type into Google.
What's the difference between websites for carpenters and websites for joiners?
Joiners mostly make things in a workshop, like staircases and windows. Carpenters mostly fit and build on site. If you do both, the site can cover both, but the main pages lean towards the work you want more of. That keeps each page focused for Google too.
Can the site help me get work from builders as well as homeowners?
Yes. Homeowners and builders look for different things, so they get different pages. Builders want to see first and second fix experience, the areas you cover and how to book you. Homeowners want photos, reviews and a quote. Both get a quick way to reach you.
Can you show my memberships and cards?
Yes. If you're TrustMark approved, a Federation of Master Builders member or hold a CSCS card, it goes where people can see it. I only show what you actually hold, so the site stays accurate. It sits next to your reviews and photos of finished work, so all the proof is in one place.
Do I need to write anything?
No. I write every page for you from a short set-up call about your services, areas and the work you want more of. You send some photos and approve the wording. If you'd rather tweak the wording yourself, you can, and I'll make the changes.
What are SEO foundations?
The groundwork Google needs to find and understand your site: page titles written for the searches you want, a clear page structure, fast pages on mobile, your business details kept consistent, and a sitemap so Google knows every page exists. It's the base that Local SEO builds on later.
Do I own the website?
Yes. Your site, your domain and your content belong to your business. Nothing is held hostage.
What do I need to provide?
The basics: the services you offer, the areas you cover, and any photos of your work. I'll guide you through the rest.
Are there any ongoing costs?
Hosting and your web address cost , paid by you.A yearly fee for hosting and your web address, paid by you. I tell you the exact amount in writing before you pay anything. More SEO after the 3 included months is optional, month to month.
What happens after the 3 months of SEO?
That's up to you. Carry on month to month at £495 a month, or stop. Your website keeps working either way, and nothing ties you in.
