Most Gardener Websites Don't Look Good.
They Don't Win Much Work Either.
A gardener's best customer is the one who books you every fortnight for years. They live a few streets from your other customers, they want someone reliable, and they often search online before they ring. Your website has to look like the safe pair of hands.
Most gardening websites don't. One page, a few blurry photos, no list of areas and nothing about insurance. Good web design for gardeners fixes that. I build websites for gardeners that help fill gaps in your round, close to where you already work.
I build websites to do exactly that.
- 01FoundSEO architecture built in from the start.
- 02ChosenProof and design that make you the obvious call.
- 03ContactedEvery important page leads towards an enquiry.
Stop renting your growth.
Ads disappear when you stop paying. Your website doesn't.
What people check before they ring a gardener
Someone letting you into their garden every fortnight wants to trust you first. These are the questions a gardener's website has to answer quickly.
- 01
Will you turn up?
Reliability is the main thing people want from a gardener. Saying how regular visits work, and what happens if it rains, tells them you run a proper round.
- 02
Do you cover my street?
Customers want someone local, and you want work close to your round. A clear list of the villages and towns you cover saves both of you a wasted call.
- 03
Are you insured?
Hedge cutters, mowers and other people's property. Showing your public liability insurance, and your waste carrier registration if you take green waste away, puts minds at rest.
- 04
What does a visit cost?
People like to know roughly what they're signing up for. A guide price for a regular visit or a one-off tidy-up gets you the enquiry instead of the gardener who hides it.
Built to get you found.
Built to get you chosen.
Built to get you contacted.
Here's what built properly looks like for gardeners. Each page has one job: making it easy for the right customer to find you, trust you and get in touch.
- 1
Built to get you foundA page for every job you want more of, from regular maintenance to hedge trimming, plus a page for each town and village on your round and the technical groundwork Google needs.
- 2
Built to get you chosenYour insurance, Google reviews and photos of gardens you look after up front, where homeowners decide who to trust with a key to the side gate.
- 3
Built to get you contactedA call button that stays on screen on a phone, and a short form that asks how often they want you, so you can see if they fit your round.
The pages a gardener's website needs
Google ranks pages, not businesses. Each job you want more of gets its own page, written for what people actually type in.
Regular garden maintenance
Weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits. The page that fills your round, with how it works and what each visit covers.
Lawn mowing and lawn care
Mowing, edging, feeding and scarifying, for people who want a decent lawn without spending their weekends on it.
Hedge trimming
One of the jobs people search for most, with photos of neat hedges and a note on bird nesting season.
Garden clearance and tidy-ups
Overgrown gardens, end of tenancy clear-outs and seasonal tidy-ups. A good way to meet customers who then stay on a regular visit.
Borders, weeding and pruning
Planting, weeding and shrub pruning for people who love their garden but can't keep up with it any more.
Area pages
A page for each town and village on your round, so you show up when people search "gardener near me" where you already work.
Everything you need
to win work online.
No templates. No missing essentials. Everything below is included in your website.
- 01Mobile-first design
Built for phones first, where most of your customers will see you.
- 02A page for every job
Maintenance, lawns, hedges, clearances and borders each get their own page, built for the searches people make.
- 03Your round, on the map
The towns and villages you cover, so enquiries come from where you already work and not from miles away.
- 04Regular customers, not just one-offs
Pages and forms that lean towards regular visits, the steady monthly income that keeps a gardening business going.
- 05You own everything.
No rented website. No proprietary platform holding your business hostage. When it's finished, it's yours.

Paying
I take no deposit and no booking fee. You pay nothing until you've seen and approved your homepage design. Then you pay the full price in one go, and I build the rest. The price is one-off. No VAT to add.
The See-It-First Guarantee
Your homepage design comes within 24 hours of your set-up call. 1 round of changes is included before you decide. You then have 2 working days to say yes or no, so I can hold your build slot. The 7-day clock pauses while you decide. If you say no, you owe nothing, and the unused design stays with me.
The 7-Day Launch Guarantee
The 7 working days start on your booked start date, with your set-up call. The clock only runs once I have everything on my set-up list: your details, logins and photos. It pauses while I'm waiting on you: for feedback, answers, your decision on your homepage design, your payment or access to your web address. 'Live' means your site is up on your own web address. If it isn't live in time because of a delay on my side, I pay you £100 by bank transfer within 7 days of launch. It's money, not a credit.
The founding price
The founding price is an introductory price for my first 4 founding clients. A place is taken when a client books their set-up call, and their price is locked from then, as long as they keep that call. If a client cancels, misses their set-up call or walks away at the design stage before all 4 places are taken, their place opens again. The founding price ends the day the 4th place is taken, or on , whichever comes first. Then the price goes up to £1,995, and the founding price doesn't come back.
In return I ask 3 things: use what I build and give me honest feedback, let me take a before snapshot on day 1, and let me show your finished site and its tracked numbers, good or bad. If you'd rather stay anonymous, I hide your name and web address. Your price never depends on a review.
What I don't promise
I don't promise rankings, calls, enquiries or jobs. Google decides when and where your pages show up. My guarantees cover my own work.
Gardener website questions, answered.
What makes web design for gardeners different from a normal website?
A normal website describes your business. A gardener's website is built around how people choose a gardener: someone local, reliable and insured, who can come regularly. So it shows the areas you cover, how regular visits work and your reviews, and it leads people towards the ongoing work that fills your round.
Can the website help me fill gaps in my round?
That's what the area pages are for. Each town or village you want more customers in gets its own page, and the enquiry form asks where people live and how often they want a visit. The 3 months of local SEO is aimed at those same areas.
I already get work from Facebook and word of mouth. Do I need a website?
Word of mouth is great, but people who hear your name usually look you up before they ring. A proper gardener website backs up the recommendation with reviews, photos and your insurance. It also means people searching for a gardener in your area can find you, not just friends of customers.
Many of my customers are older. Will they find the site easy to use?
Yes. I keep the text large and clear, the phone number easy to find and the contact form short. Nothing clever, nothing that needs an app. If someone can use a smartphone to look up a bus time, they can use your website.
Do I need to write anything?
No. I write every page for you from a short set-up call about the work you do, the areas you cover and the customers you want more of. You just approve it, and send a few photos of gardens you look after if you have them.
What are SEO foundations?
The groundwork Google needs to find and understand your site: page titles written for the searches you want, a clear page structure, fast pages on mobile, your business details kept consistent, and a sitemap so Google knows every page exists. It's the base that Local SEO builds on later.
Do I own the website?
Yes. Your site, your domain and your content belong to your business. Nothing is held hostage.
What do I need to provide?
The basics: the services you offer, the areas you cover, and any photos of your work. I'll guide you through the rest.
Are there any ongoing costs?
Hosting and your web address cost , paid by you.A yearly fee for hosting and your web address, paid by you. I tell you the exact amount in writing before you pay anything. More SEO after the 3 included months is optional, month to month.
What happens after the 3 months of SEO?
That's up to you. Carry on month to month at £495 a month, or stop. Your website keeps working either way, and nothing ties you in.
