Your next customer is searching right now.
Are they finding you?
Nobody wants to wait with rats in the loft. They hear scratching at night, search "pest control near me" on their phone, and ring the first company that looks local, qualified and discreet. If that isn't you, the job goes to someone else within minutes.
SEO for pest control is about being that first name, in the towns you cover, for the pests you deal with. It's your Google Business Profile, a page for each pest and each area, and reviews that show you turn up, fix it and keep it quiet.
Sound familiar?
- 1
You're paying per lead for people who were searching for you anyway.
- 2
Competitors show up in the Google map results. You don't.
- 3
Your website doesn't show up for the services you actually offer.
- 4
Your reviews are thin, old or scattered across different sites.
Good work isn't enough if nobody can find it. SEO makes sure they can.
How people search for a pest control company
Most pest searches are urgent and name the pest. Good SEO for pest control gives each pest its own page, and makes sure your profile is ready when the phone search happens.
pest control near me
Urgent, ready to ring. Won almost entirely in the map results, so your profile, opening hours and recent reviews matter most.
rat control / mice in loft [your town]
The biggest year-round demand, rising in autumn and winter. A dedicated rodent page explaining what you do on a visit can rank on its own.
wasp nest removal [your town]
Very seasonal and very urgent in summer. A wasp page with clear availability gets found when searches spike.
bed bug treatment [your town]
High value and very private. A page that explains your treatment and stresses unmarked, discreet visits wins these.
BPCA or NPTA pest control near me
Customers checking you're properly trained. Your membership and RSPH Level 2 shown on your profile and site, if you hold them, help you win these.
commercial pest control [your town]
Restaurants, landlords and warehouses on contracts. A separate commercial page aimed at those buyers brings in steady, repeat work.

Pest Control SEO questions, answered.
How is SEO for pest control different from normal SEO?
Pest work is local, mostly urgent and searched by the pest. So the map results matter most, and each pest needs its own page. The work focuses on your Google Business Profile, reviews, pest and area pages, and showing your qualifications, rather than general traffic that never turns into calls.
Can SEO get me more emergency call-outs?
It can help you show up when people search urgently nearby, which is where most of those calls start. Urgent searches are competitive and Google decides the order, so I won't promise positions. I'll show you each month where you appear and how that's changing.
My customers want discretion. Will reviews and photos be a problem?
No. Reviews don't need to say where the job was or what the pest was. Plenty of customers are happy to write a short review about your service and speed. I'll help you ask in a way that respects that, and I won't use photos that could identify anyone's home.
I want more commercial contracts. Can you focus on that?
Yes. I build a commercial page aimed at food businesses, landlords and managers, and shape your profile to match. Domestic call-outs can keep coming in, but the commercial side gets its own clear route to you, with its own reviews and wording.
How long before I see more pest control calls?
Profile and review work can move your map visibility within the first couple of months. New pest and area pages usually take a few months to settle, so starting ahead of wasp or rodent season helps. I report what's moving every month in plain English.
How long until I see results?
SEO builds over time. Most businesses see early movement within the first few months, with bigger gains as the work compounds. I'll show you what's moving in every monthly report.
Can you guarantee I'll rank number one?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google. What I can promise is proper work, focused on the searches that bring you jobs, and honest reporting on progress.
Is there a long contract?
No. It's £495 a month, and you stay because it's working, not because you're tied in.
What happens if I stop?
You keep everything that's been built: the pages, the profile, the reviews and the links. Unlike paid ads, your visibility doesn't vanish overnight.
